Carlos C. Lopez is President and CEO of Lopez Tax Services, Inc. of Salinas, California. He earned a BA in Biology/Chemistry from Pacific Union College in 1980 and has completed coursework toward a BS in Organizational Behavior at the University of San Francisco. Carlos passed the IRS Enrolled Agent exam in September, 1988. He provides taxpayer audit representation before the IRS and prepares individual, partnership and corporation tax returns. Carlos also holds Series 6 and 63 NASDQ Securities Licenses. As a representative of HD Vest, Inc., Carlos provides investment counseling, retirement planning and college planning. Lopez Tax Services also provides accounting, payroll and write-up services for a diverse range and size of businesses in the Salinas Valley. Carlos is fluent in English and Spanish.

Carlos maintains professional memberships in the National Association of Enrolled Agents, the California Society of Enrolled Agents, the National Notary Association, the Salinas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Salinas United Business Association. Carlos is a Charter Member and a Member of the initial Advisory Board of the National Alliance of Tax Business Owners.

Lopez Tax Service is the official sponsor of the Salinas Community Soccer League. Carlos has been recognized by the Mission Society of Enrolled Agents for time donated to victims of the October 17, 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. He also received a certificate of Appreciation from the Deputy Sheriff’s Association of Alameda County.
