Timothy Clay
 

Timothy B. Clay has served as President of Accounting & Business Consulting, Inc. (ABC Inc.) since June 1994. For the previous ten years he was a part-time employee of ABC, Inc. Previously, he was Controller for Protective Industries Insurance Companies and a Staff Analyst for BellSouth Services.

Since 1985, Tim has also been a Writer and Seminar Producer. He is Seminar Leader of the “God Wants You to Prosper” series featuring financial planning tips and small business advice for local church congregations. Tim is a Feature Writer on personal finance for the nationally distributed Message Magazine dealing with contemporary Christian issues. Tim is the Origination Columnist of “Moneywise,” published bi-weekly by The Birmingham Times. Tim is also Co-Producer of a series of radio vignettes titled, “Increasing Your Assets,” sponsored by AmSouth Bank for the benefit of the Minority Business Community.

Tim earned an MBA (concentration in Accounting/Data Processing) in 1982 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He earned a BS in Business Administration (Accounting Minor) in 1978 from Oakwood College. He is a member of the Reddy Talkers Toastmaster Club and served on the Internal Revenue Service Advisory Committee (IRSAC). Tim is a 1989 graduate of Leadership Birmingham. Tim has also taught various business and accounting courses as an adjunct faculty member of Miles College.

Tim became a Charter Member of the Board of Directors of NATBO in December 2003.

Tim is married with two daughters, ages 19 and 14.
